Meet Pastor Ronny
My life makes no sense without God's sovereign grace and His daily mercy in my weakness.
I was born in Hyderabad, India, a beautiful city with delicious food, and I grew up there with my precious family.
I came to Alabama to study mechanical engineering, but God had different plans for me. He used a friend to bring me to Himself. During that time I lived with a Christian family who showed me what a godly home looks like. My mentor, Jim Shaddix, also started discipling me, and he has shaped my life more than I can say. He encouraged me to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I earned my M.Div. in 2019. I am currently in the doctoral program there.
Before coming to Memorial in August 2025, I served as an Associate Pastor at Harvest Raleigh Church for more than four years, and I am so thankful for that church family. Now I am grateful to serve as Senior Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Sterling Heights.
I am married to Shelly, and God has blessed us with four children: Navi, Zahra, Aavia, and Nivin. Most Sundays I get to preach God's Word, which my kids will tell you is the most boring thing they listen to.
