Everything you need for Sunday, in about two minutes.

THE BASICS

Sunday worship starts at 11:00 AM and runs about an hour. 12651 Clinton River Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Jeans are normal. Children from birth through age 11 have classes during the service, and are welcome to stay with you instead. The entire service is interpreted in ASL, every week.

GETTING HERE & PARKING

Turn in from Clinton River Road at the main drive. There is parking in front of the building, a smaller lot on the right, and a large lot behind the church with its own entrance. Accessible parking is beside the main entrance. Come through either door. Someone will be there to greet you and help you find whatever you need first.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. Just show up. If you'd like us to know you're coming, send us a note through the contact page and we will look out for you.

No. You can be as anonymous or as known as you want to be. We will not put you in the spotlight.

We work straight through books of the Bible. Right now we are in Acts, in a series called The Proof of Life. You can watch any of it before you visit.

A mix of hymns and contemporary songs. The words are on the screen, and you are welcome to sing or just listen.

No. You do not have to be anything to come on a Sunday. If you later want to become a member, we will walk you through what we believe and what we would be committing to one another. That is a later conversation and you get to start it.

No. People come on their own every week.

Memorial is a real multigenerational church. You'll meet young adults, parents, children, and older members who have walked with Jesus for decades. We think that kind of family is a gift.

Wear what you would normally wear to lunch with friends. You'll see jeans, jackets, and plenty in between.

Children from birth through age 11 have classes during the service. Check-in is clearly marked, and an usher can walk you there. If you would rather keep your children with you, they are welcome in the worship service.

No. We do not pass an offering plate during the service. Members usually place their gifts in the offering box on the welcome table. Guests are never expected to give.

Not at all. Bring your questions. One of our leaders would be glad to talk with you, and there will be no lecture or pressure.

Once a month we share the Lord’s Supper. If you are not ready to take part, simply let it pass. No one will put you on the spot.

The building is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking beside the main entrance and an accessible restroom. If you have an accessibility question before you visit, call 586-739-2132 and one of our leaders will talk with you about what is available.
